or in the first few years of life. Although histologically benign, these facial masses occasionally are malignant for their deforming and inexorable growth.
The response of treatment varies with the types, regions of hemangioma, the age of, patient,
and completely satisfactory method of treatment has not yet estabilished. Among the hemangiomas, the cavernous type on lip seems to resolve less satisfactory.
Today, Hemangiomas have been treated by various methods ; steroids, cryotheraphy, radiation
theraphy, laser theraphy, electrocoagulation, embolization and surgical excision, etc. Among the above methods, surgical excision was used for our patients. We report our limited but encouraging experience.
